Wow- We are so happy and pleased with Esteem Entertainment. They performed our wedding ceremony and it was amazing- People LOVED the music and the musicians were so professional. I emailed Dominic and Jack a good amount of times because I wanted a very specific version of a song to be played as I walked down the aisle- and they were so helpful- When I thought I was being totally annoying- they reassured me that I was not being annoying and they know they just wanted to make my wedding ceremony so special for me and exactly the way I imagined it- and they sure did do that- It was perfect- Kelli

The subject of this week’s blog is simple yet understated; It is never to early to book your wedding entertainment.
Here is the scenario; you just popped the question or you just said yes, the ring pictures are posted on Instagram and the big announcement is posted on Twitter, and now the excitement begins to build for the big day. You picked a date and a venue, and your wedding is twelve to eighteen months away and you may think that it is so early in the planning process that booking a band or a DJ can be put off. That may be a big mistake!
Music helps to set the mood for your wedding reception. It serves as a sort of play list to your milestone celebration. Each year, music and trends evolve so you may wonder what kinds of music are popular to play.
As an expert in Philadelphia area wedding entertainment, we turned to Jack Goodman of Esteem Entertainment to find out three of the latest trends in wedding music. Here is what is he said is trending for weddings in the Philadelphia area:
There are a lot of requests for new country music mixed with other music. Another popular request is lots of 80s and 90s music; a resurgence for these two decades. Finally, latino mix crossover songs are a big trend in weddings in the Tri-State Area.

Next to planning the first dance, a big priority for most engaged couples is to have a packed dance floor when choosing their wedding band or DJ. This begs the question, what songs exactly prompt a mass exodus from the table to the dance floor?
We turned to Jack Goodman of Esteem Entertainment to find out the Top 5 Songs in his experience that attract the most guests to the dance floor. Here are the selections he named for weddings in the Philadelphia area:

Danza Kuduro by Don Omar, a Spanish-Portugene hit (released in 2010)
Uptown Funk by Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson (released in 2015)
